Roman Golovchenko said: “Kyrgyzstan is a friendly country for us. We are glad to resume full-fledged cooperation taking into account economic capabilities and the potential of our countries. Belarus’ export to Kyrgyzstan and Kyrgyzstan’s export to Belarus are rising, which is good.”

The prime minister of Belarus also stressed that the Belarusian side is glad to contribute to Kazakhstan’s stronger food security by selling food that is popular with Kyrgyzstan residents. “At the same time we are interested in getting the agricultural products that do not grow in Belarus. Those are fruits, nuts, and other products. We should discuss these matters,” he said.

“I am glad that we are realizing a joint manufacturing project and the joint production of power transformers has been launched this year. We expect the project to grow larger. A project to make electric equipment together is under consideration now. We need to discuss it. Manufacturing cooperation topics should be included into the agenda of the session,” Roman Golovchenko remarked.

In turn, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, head of the Kyrgyzstan President Administration Akylbek Zhaparov mentioned the delivery of a large batch of Belarusian buses to Bishkek and praised the high quality of various Belarusian products. He also suggested that Kyrgyzstan could become a conduit and a partner for Belarus to enter the Chinese market.
