MINSK, 4 April (BelTA) – Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with Chairman of Kenya’s Sameer Group Naushad Merali on 4 April, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects of trade and economic cooperation of Belarus with Kenya and other Eastern African states. The parties stressed the importance of establishing direct contacts between Kenyan businessmen and partners in Belarus.
Keeping in mind Sameer Group’s areas of activity, the parties agreed to work out joint projects in mechanical engineering, petrochemistry, agriculture, and food production.
