MINSK, 15 December (BelTA) - The joint Belarus-Kazakhstan working group on developing promising areas of bilateral cooperation in agriculture held a meeting in the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry on 14 December, BelTA learned from the ministry’s press service.
“The working group reached agreements to intensify joint activities, expand business contacts, increase mutual supplies of agricultural and food products. Kazakhstan will send a list of 65 farms interested in the construction of dairy complexes. Belarus and Kazakhstan will exchange information on the activities in agriculture,” the ministry said.
The parties also noted the demand for mutual supply of products in the markets of the two countries.
There are 260 trade facilities in Kazakhstan which sell Belarusian food. Work is underway to ship Halal products.
