BARCELONA, 25 February (BelTA) – Belarusian IT company Newland has presented its innovative solutions at MWC Barcelona (formerly Mobile World Congress), a major international mobile exhibition, BelTA has learned.
The company is taking part in the event for the second time already. This time it showed off its Absolute:SmartSite solution.
“Absolute:SmartSite is designed to monitor and manage engineering systems, like telecom network provider’s base stations, autonomous power units, wind and solar power plants, electrical substations and many more,” Head of the Technical Department of the company Ivan Tereh said. In his words, such a solution can be used in the oil and gas sector, agribusiness, housing and utilities and by individual households.
The Absolute: SmartSite developers explained that this solution is similar to the smart home concept, however, the capacities of Absolute: SmartSite are much bigger therefore it can be used on an industrial scale. Absolute:SmartSite is made of hardware controllers Absolute: SmartSite that are deployed at customer’s site and perform data collection and local management of controlled objects and software modules, which manage the aforementioned controllers, as well as perform processing and storage of data that is collected from managed objects. It is important that this solution allows saving considerably on maintenance works.
