Belarus, Iran discuss joint business council activities

MINSK, 1 March (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Iran Dmitry Koltsov has held a meeting with head of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture Samad Hassanzadeh, BelTA learned from the Belarusian foreign office in Tehran.

The parties discussed the functioning of the Belarusian-Iranian Business Council, and the process of implementing the provisions of the memorandum of understanding between the chambers of commerce and industry of the two countries, signed during the official visit of the Belausian prime minister to Iran in November 2022.

Special attention was paid to the development of direct interaction between representatives of business communities of the two countries, holding bilateral meetings in various formats, and the permanent participation of delegations in exhibition events held in Belarus and Iran.
