MINSK, 10 October (BelTA) - Belarus and Iran have agreed on a plan for further action in promising areas of cooperation, BelTA learned from the press service of the Industry Ministry of Belarus.
The protocol was signed following the plenary session of the joint Belarusian-Iranian commission on economic cooperation in Tehran. The plenary session was chaired by Belarusian Industry Minister Aleksandr Rogozhnik.
All the agreements reached during the meeting have been formalized in the protocol. The document spells out the measures to promote cooperation in the manufacturing sector, agriculture and veterinary, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, transport and cooperation through chambers of commerce and industry.
On 10 October, Aleksandr Rogozhnik, as co-chairman of the joint Belarusian-Iranian commission on economic cooperation, will hold a series of meetings at Iran’s Ministry of Roads and Urban Development and the Ministry of Health and Medical Education.
