MINSK, 17 January (BelTA) – Belarus is interested in strengthening its business cooperation with Sudan. We have invited this country to implement joint projects in different economy sectors, representatives of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry told BelTA.
The prospects for the cooperation between the two countries are discussed at the Belarus-Sudan business forum that is underway in Khartoum, Sudan. The Belarusian delegation to the forum includes over 30 representatives of large and small businesses and enterprises, such as Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark), Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ trademark), Belarusian Autoworks (BelAZ trademark), Amkodor, Gomselmash, Belshina, and agricultural enterprise Dzerzhinsky.
The forum pays special attention to joint projects in mechanical engineering, mining industry, agriculture, and pharmaceutical industry. The participants discuss prospects for launching exports of Belarusian equipment and agricultural products to Sudan, and also consider ways to attract investment from big Sudanese companies to Belarus.
