MINSK, 26 December (BelTA) – Belarus is becoming more and more attractive for investors from the point of view of the calm and stable situation, BelTA learned from Milutin Smiljkovic, manager of the representative office of the Slovenian company Riko in Minsk.
The executive noted that Belarus looks interesting for foreign investors and partners due to the stable situation maintained in the country as well as economic conditions. “Stability and security in Belarus represent an important international factor in comparison with the situation in other countries of the world. I like Belarus a lot. I’ve lived here for more than ten years and have received education here,” said Milutin Smiljkovic. The manager of the representative office of the Slovenian company in Minsk also underlined that many branches of the production sector are being developed in Belarus in a contemporary manner, enterprises are getting modernized and fitted with state-of-the-art European equipment.
“Metalworking and woodworking, power engineering, and civil engineering are the industries where Riko has been fruitfully working with Belarusian partners for a long time,” continued Milutin Smiljkovic. “Our company works with many prominent international and European brands. We use their latest products as part of the projects we implement in Belarus.” In the country the Slovenian company also cooperates with MAZ, MTZ, BelAZ, and MZKT. The Slovenian company is also busy implementing power engineering projects in various parts of the country.
The Slovenian engineering company Riko is headquartered in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The company boasts a long international record of planning and implementing projects relating to technological equipment, power engineering, ecology, logistics, and power engineering.
