MINSK, 26 September (BelTA) – Belarus is interested in developing green economy projects with the UK, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei told the media after his meeting with Minister of State for Europe and the Americas at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office Alan Duncan on 26 September, BelTA has learned.
“We discussed the projects that could be implemented together with the UK businessmen. These can be electric car manufacturing, alternative energy facilities, IT. We are very much interested in close cooperation,” said Vladimir Makei.
According to the minister, the development of the abovementioned sectors is of great importance today, taking into account the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. “The program attaches great attention to the development of the so-called green economy,” he said.
