MINSK, 21 January (BelTA) – Belarus and India will boost their cooperation in pharmaceutics and healthcare, the Belarusian Embassy in India told BelTA.
“This week, New Delhi hosted the first meeting of the Belarusian-Indian joint working group for cooperation in pharmaceutics and healthcare. The parties discussed collaboration in these two areas, including matters related to the registration of pharmaceutical products and medical equipment in Belarus and India, establishment of joint enterprises, transfer of pharmaceutical technologies, and cooperation in biotechnology and training of specialists,” the embassy said.
The Belarusian delegation was led by Valery Shevchuk, Belarusian Deputy Healthcare Minister, Director of the Pharmaceutical Industry Department of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry. The delegation met with Indian businessmen and paid a visit to the production facilities of a major Indian pharmaceutical company.
