MINSK, 30 March (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Hungary Vladimir Ulakhovich has paid a working visit to Győr, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in Budapest.
The Belarusian diplomat met with President of the General Assembly of Győr-Moson-Sopron County Zoltán Németh and Vice-President of the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry István Szekeres. The meeting was attended by Belarusian and Hungarian business people.
The Belarusian diplomat held a joint press conference with senior officials of the region. Vladimir Ulakhovich spoke about the possibilities and priorities of interregional cooperation and answered questions from local journalists.
The parties exchanged information on the potential and framework conditions for interaction with a focus on trade and economy. They confirmed readiness to promote a constructive dialogue across a wide range of areas, including manufacturing, construction, education, science, culture, tourism, as well as to encourage business contacts and mutual participation in business events.
