MINSK, 11 May (BelTA) – The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus hopes to attract Chinese scientists to the BelBioGrad technological cluster, Chairman of the NASB Presidium Vladimir Gusakov told media on 11 May, BelTA has learned.
According to Vladimir Gusakov, the technological cluster would like to cooperate with Chinese specialists in biology, microbiology, medical, agrarian and nanotechnologies.
At present Belarusian and Chinese scientists are implementing about 10 joint projects to the total cost of $4 million. Five more projects are in the pipeline. Chinese scientists are interested in working with Belarusian counterparts in space research, unmanned drones, laser physics, new and nano materials, Vladimir Gusakov said.
Belarus and China have been successfully cooperating in science. Efficient cooperation has been established in many areas and their list has been gradually expanding.
