MINSK, 14 August (BelTA) - Over 7.2 million tonnes of grain, including rapeseed, has been threshed in Belarus, BelTA learned from the Agriculture and Food Ministry.
As of 14 August, 7.282 million tonnes of grain (including rapeseed) was harvested, which includes more than 6.222 million tonnes of cereals and leguminous crops (89.6% of the area under these crops, with yields at 33.5 centners per hectare) and 1.060 million tonnes of winter rapeseed (90.4% of the area, with yields at 29.4 centners per hectare). The largest grain harvest contributors are enterprises of Minsk Oblast - over 1.939 million tonnes, Grodno Oblast – 1.688 million tonnes, and Brest Oblast – 1.553 million tonnes.
Meanwhile, flax was pulled from 42,800 hectares, which is 96.6% of the area under this crop.
