MINSK, 5 September (BelTA) - Some 7.9 million tonnes of grain, including rapeseed, has been threshed in Belarus, BelTA learned from the Agriculture and Food Ministry.
As of 5 September, 7.92 million tonnes of grain (including rapeseed) was harvested, which comprised 6.809 million tonnes of cereals and leguminous crops and 1.111 million tonnes of rapeseed.
Farmers have harvested 62,000 tonnes of grain maize (3% of the target), almost 4.907 million tonnes of silage and green maize (20%), and 25,000 tonnes of buckwheat (50%).
A total of 15,000 tonnes of millet (69%), 53,000 tonnes of potatoes (10%), 26,000 tonnes of vegetables (35%), and 329,000 tonnes of sugar beet (7.4%) have been harvested.
Belarus has harvested 5.188 million tonnes of grasses (53% of the target).
