MINSK, 15 March (BelTA) - Belarus and the German Federal State of Saxony intend to bolster ties in economy, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
These issues were considered during a visit of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Federal Republic of Germany Denis Sidorenko to Dresden. During a meeting with President of Saxony's parliament Matthias Roessler the parties discussed the prospects of cooperation between Belarus and Saxony, including in economy, investment and education, the issues on the regional agenda, and also inter-parliamentary interaction.
The Belarusian diplomat also met with Saxony Justice Minister Sebastian Gemkow Gemkov, and attended the parliamentary forum of the Central and Eastern European countries of the Saxon Landtag.
