MINSK, 5 September (BelTA) – The Belarusian delegation led by Deputy Economy Minister Yuri Chebotar held a meeting at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy to discuss cooperation in the digitalization of the real economic sector, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Economy Ministry.
The parties talked over the development of smart industry and the possibility to sign a ministerial agreement on cooperation in the development of digital economy.
The Belarusian representatives got familiar with Germany’s know-how in the implementation of the Industry 4.0 concept during the visit to the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology, a demonstration factory in the city of Aachen, the e-standards competence center for small and medium-sized companies in Cologne, and Detecon, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telecom.
