MINSK, 27 September (BelTA) – Belarus and Germany explored opportunities for investment cooperation during the Day of Belarusian Economy at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce on 27 September, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The emphasis was placed on the opportunities for interaction and investment cooperation between Belarus and Germany in the context of Belarus’ membership in the Eurasian Economic Union. The parties also discussed ways to strengthen ties in transport, logistics and power engineering. During the forum, Belarusian officials and businessmen met with representatives of German companies interested in establishing cooperation,” the press service said.
The Belarusian delegation to the Day of Belarusian Economy at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce included Belarusian Deputy Economy Minister Dmitry Krutoi, Deputy Director of the Foreign Economic Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ruslan Yesin, representatives of the administration of the Great Stone industrial park, Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange, the National Center for Marketing and Price Study, free economic zones, and major Belarusian enterprises.
Partaking in the business forum also were representatives of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, business associations, banking and consulting companies, and business circles.
