MINSK, 11 March (BelTA) - Belarus is preparing to host the INNOPROM visiting exhibition in 2025, Andrei Shakhanovich, deputy director of the Belinterexpo exhibition enterprise at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI), told BelTA.
"The scale of Belarus' participation in the international industrial exhibition INNOPROM in Yekaterinburg last year became a kind of catalyst for the decision of the Russian organizers to hold this event in our country, which will happen for the first time. We discussed this topic with our Russian partners for a long time and invited them to Belarus, but the decision was postponed for various reasons. The organizers are already preparing to hold the exhibition in our country,” Andrei Shakhanovich noted. "We, too, are preparing for INNOPROM in 2025."
According to him, there are a number of things and requirements in this regard, including financial, organizational and technical ones. "These issues are now being explored and discussed. The tasks will be solved at the government level," he stressed.
Andrei Shakhanovich added that it is also important to choose the right venue for such a large-scale exhibition. Now the Belarusian side is actively working on this.
