MINSK, 20 December (BelTA) – In 2014 Belarus’ GDP totaled Br778.5 trillion, up 1.6% from last year, BelTA learned from the National Statistics Committee of Belarus.
The labor productivity of the gross domestic product (excluding micro-companies and small companies without departmental affiliation) reached Br158.5 million, up 3.1% as against a year earlier.
In 2014 the industrial output went up by 1.9% over 2013 to Br668.4 trillion. The share of innovative products in the total volume of merchandise shipped in 2014 was 14.2%.
Agricultural production went up by 3.1% in 2014 as against 2013 to Br131.4 trillion.
Capital investments totaled Br213.5 trillion.
The wholesale trade reached Br535.7 trillion (up 9.1% from 2013), retail sale amounted to Br308.4 trillion (up 6.6%).
A total of 5,522.4 million square meters of housing was commissioned in 2014, up 5.8% from 2013.
