MINSK, 12 December (BelTA) – Belarus and France have discussed the prospects for bilateral military cooperation, Belarus’ Defense Ministry told BelTA while commenting on the meeting of Defense Minister Andrei Pavkov with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Belarus Didier Canesse.
Attending the meeting was also Defense Attache of France to Belarus (on concurrent accreditation) Colonel Christian Bartlen. The parties discussed the issues of international and regional security, the state and prospects for developing bilateral military cooperation.
The event was held to mark the start of the French diplomatic mission in Belarus.
