MINSK, 11 April (BelTA) – In January-February 2023 Belarus' foreign trade totaled $14.8 billion which corresponds to the same period a year prior, BelTA learned from the website of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB).

The dynamics of foreign trade testifies to the adaptation of the Belarusian economy to the new conditions and the successful reorientation of export/import flows.

Positive trends were observed in foreign trade in goods: their exports went up by 5.4% in February 2023 over January 2023 and by 6.3% over February 2022 and amounted to $3.2 billion.

The deficit of foreign trade in goods decreased from $172.4 million in January 2023 to $153 million in February 2023. In January-February 2023, the deficit made up $325.4 million.
