MINSK, 19 October (BelTA) – In January-August 2017 Belarus’ export to Armenia rose by 40%, BelTA learned from Dmitry Mironchik, Head of the Information Office, Press Secretary of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on 19 October.
In January-August 2017 Belarus-Armenia trade rose by 22.7% to $23.2 million, with Belarus’ export up by 40% to $18.3 million.
According to the source, a session of the Belarusian-Armenian intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation is scheduled to take place in Minsk on 19-20 October. The sides will discuss the state and prospects of cooperation in this sphere. The Armenian delegation will also meet with the ministers of economy, industry, agriculture and food in Minsk.
The agreements the sides will reach during the session will be specified by the minutes of the session.
