MINSK, 21 August (BelTA) – Belarus plans to boost export of food products to Turkmenistan, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Belarusian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Oleg Tabanyukhov met with Turkmenistan Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations Amandurdy Ishanov to discuss increase in trade. The sides also discussed further development of the Belarusian-Turkmen trading house in Ashgabat and the Turkmen-Belarusian trading house in Minsk.
The parties worked out a mechanism to increase trade between the joint trading houses and reached certain agreements regarding expanding the export of Belarusian food products to Turkmenistan.
