Belarus, Egypt to hold meeting of working group on industrial cooperation

MINSK, 2 May (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt Sergei Terentyev met with Yahya Al-Wathiq Billah, the First Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Head of the Egyptian Commercial Service, BelTA learned from the Belarusian foreign mission in Egypt.

The parties reviewed the issues related to the preparation of the third meeting of the Belarusian-Egyptian working group on cooperation in industry. The event is due in Cairo, Egypt, on 15-16 May.

The parties also discussed the prospects for holding the next meeting of the Belarusian-Egyptian joint trade commission. Special consideration was given to the ways of expanding bilateral cooperation in trade and joint projects in the industrial sector.
