MINSK, 15 January (BelTA) – Belarus and Ecuador have plans to set up a joint enterprise to produce unmanned aerial vehicles, BelTA learned from the press service of the State Science and Technology Committee (SSTC).
“SSTC Deputy Chairman Pyotr Baltrukovich and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ecuador to Belarus Carlos Humberto Larrea Davila discussed a number of promising hi-tech projects and matters of setting up a joint enterprise to manufacture unmanned aerial vehicles in Ecuador,” the press service said.
The parties also talked over the prospects of bilateral scientific and technical cooperation in different fields including agriculture (testing of potato varieties selected in Belarus and suitable for manufacturing of potato products and starch in Ecuador).
