MINSK, 10 June (BelTA) – A presentation of Belarus’ potential took place in Tokyo on 10 June, representatives of the Belarusian embassy in Japan told BelTA.
The presentation was organized by the embassy in association with the Belarusian-Japanese Business Club. More than 30 representatives of the Japanese private sector, mass media, and creative intellectuals were made familiar with the Belarusian culture, cuisine, and economic opportunities. Books and photo albums about Belarus, goods made of flax and straw, and other souvenir products, information about Belarusian exporters and samples of their products were presented on a dedicated stand.
During the presentation Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Japan Ruslan Yesin hosted a master class on cooking traditional national dishes. Apart from that, Japanese guests had a chance to sample chocolate-glazed curd bars and rye bread baked using recipes of Belarusian partners.
Participants of the event showed interest in establishing cooperation with Belarusian partners and expressed desire to visit Belarus.
