Belarus eager to sell trucks, municipal vehicles to Vietnam

MINSK, 29 March (BelTA) – Belarus is intent on selling trucks and municipal vehicles to the Vietnamese city of Ho Chi Minh. The possibilities were discussed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam Vladimir Goshin met with representatives of the city administration, BelTA has learned.

The ambassador and representatives of the Ho Chi Minh city administration discussed the possible contribution of Belarusian companies to the development of the transport infrastructure of the country’s largest economic hub – the city of Ho Chi Minh. The establishment of interregional cooperation was also discussed.

While in Ho Chi Minh City Vladimir Goshin took part in the opening ceremony of the international seminar Electrify Vietnam 2019. The ambassador met with top officials of the Vietnamese Trade and Industry Ministry and the Vietnam Energy Association (VEA).

Apart from that, the ambassador met with heads of major Vietnamese companies, who had graduated from Belarusian universities. The sides agreed to work together to expand bilateral cooperation in the spheres of trade, education, science, and tourism.
