MINSK, 14 May (BelTA) – Belarus may borrow a loan from the China Development Bank in 2019, BelTA learned from Belarusian Finance Minister Maksim Yermolovich on 14 May.
The official said: “We’ve signed a memorandum with the China Development Bank and intend to start credit cooperation.”
In his words, the loan from China may become an alternative to a Russian state loan. Borrowing $500-600 million is the idea. “In terms of the sum and the cost this source is quite competitive with the Russian loan,” the finance minister noted.
