MINSK, 13 December (BelTA) - Belarusian Deputy Industry Minister Dmitry Kharitonchik and his Cuban counterpart Jose Gaspar Alvarez discussed ways to advance cooperation in the manufacturing sector, BelTA learned from the ministry.
The parties agreed to consider setting up a working group on cooperation between the ministries of the two countries.
The parties also considered the involvement of enterprises of the Belarusian Industry Ministry to assist Cuba with upgrading the current fleet of equipment in the Republic of Cuba.
Dmitry Kharitonchik also expressed his readiness to discuss new projects to supply Belarusian engineering goods to Cuba.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Belarus Santiago Perez Benitez and heads of Belarusian enterprises were present at the talks.
