MINSK, 16 May (BelTA) – The Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vladimir Oblast, BelTA learned from the BUCE press service.

The document was signed by Chairman of the Board of BUCE Aleksandr Osmolovsky and President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vladimir Oblast Ivan Aksyonov.

According to the BUCE press service, the agreement seeks to expand contacts between economic entities of Belarus and Vladimir Oblast and to promote trade by using the instruments of the exchange platform. “This is the case when the interests of the parties completely coincide, and by joining efforts we can address common problems much more effectively. Of course, first of all, we want to bring in more participants from Vladimir Oblast. Currently, only 29 companies from this region are accredited at the exchange, which seriously limits the opportunities. In this regard, we are counting on the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vladimir Oblast that has more than a thousand legal entities and individual entrepreneurs as its members. We will traditional rely on small and medium-sized businesses as they are the most active segment of the business community. The development of a program of joint events will begin in the near future,” the BUCE press service noted.

In January-April 2023, companies from 31 regions of Russia concluded transactions at BUCE. The top five regions in terms of the amount of transactions included Moscow Oblast, Smolensk Oblast, Leningrad Oblast and Kemerovo Oblast, as well as the Republic of Khakassia.
