MINSK, 14 July (BelTA) – Advancing industrial cooperation and promoting trade, investment and cultural ties will bring Belarus’ cooperation with Jilin Province to a new, more practice-oriented level, Belarusian First Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov said during a visit to Jilin Province on 13 July, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.
Nikolai Snopkov met with First Secretary of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee Jing Junhai and Governor of Jilin Province Hu Yuting. The parties expressed mutual interest in promoting industrial cooperation in automotive, satellite, chemical fiber, car building and optics industries. The parties discussed the steps to intensify the process of setting up production facilities in the Great Stone Industrial Park and reviewed the support measures from the government for the investment projects.
In order to strengthen cultural ties between Belarus and Jilin Province of China, the parties agreed to organize exchanges of arts teams and joint work in cinematography.
Specific mechanisms for the implementation of the agreements reached were outlined during the meeting.
