MINSK, 19 October (BelTA) - Belarus has built new logistics chains for the delivery of products by rail to China, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Sivak said at a joint sitting of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic, BelTA has learned.
“In order to ensure Belarusian exports, new logistics chains have been established for the delivery of Belarusian goods by rail to China. In January-September, shipments of of Belarusian products to China amounted to about 83,500 TEU containers,” said Anatoly Sivak.
According to him, the growth was 4.6 times to the same period in 2021.
“A total of 690 container trains were sent from Belarus to China in January-September 2022,” the deputy prime minister said.
