MINSK, 11 August (BelTA) – Belarus and Bryansk are setting up a joint construction complex. The matter was discussed at a meeting between Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and Governor of Russia’s Bryansk Oblast Alexander Bogomaz on 11 August, BelTA has learned.
The parties agreed on the need to strengthen cooperation and gradually transit from merchandize trade towards setting up of joint companies. It was noted that Belarus and Bryansk Oblast are currently setting up a big construction complex.
Bio technologies were named another promising area for bilateral cooperation.
As BelTA earlier reported, a delegation of Bryansk Oblast paid a visit to Vitebsk on 10 August to sign an agreement on cooperation between the two regions. On the same day a contract was concluded to supply brick to Bryansk.
The parties also agreed to set up working groups to step up cooperation in various sectors. Belarusian businessmen will be invited to take part in the projects.
