Belarus, Brazil plan to boost cooperation in engineering, oil extraction
MINSK, 3 May (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Brazil Alexander Tserkovsky met with Undersecretary General for International Cooperation, Trade Promotion and Cultural Themes of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil Santiago Irazabal Mourao, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed the current state of Belarusian-Brazilian trade and economic cooperation, the status of implementation of joint projects in engineering and oil industry, and preparations for signing the memorandum to set up the Belarusian-Brazilian mixed commission on economic cooperation, the press service noted.
Special attention was attached to the issues of Belarus' WTO accession and the ways to promote bilateral dialogue on integration in the EAEU-MERCOSUR format.
