Belarus, Bangladesh aim to resume work of trade and economic commission

MINSK, 24 August (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik has held a meeting with Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed the prospect of resuming the work of the joint commission on trade and economic cooperation. High on the agenda of the meeting were also issues of food security and the situation with Belarusian potash fertilizers.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the BRICS summit on 24 August.
