BAKU, 8 January (BelTA – Trend) – Belarus and Azerbaijan will cooperate in the stock market. The corresponding memorandum was signed by Vugar Namazov, the head of the Baku Stock Exchange, and Andrei Aukhimenya, the head of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange, in Baku on 8 January.
The organizations will share the experience in the development of listing, study the mutual legal framework for introducing new financial instruments in the markets, and support post-trade institutions for foreign investors to enter the capital markets.
The Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange is a trading platform serving three major segments of the formal financial market of Belarus (currency, stock and futures).
