MINSK, 7 March (BelTA) – Belarus’ national stand is on show at the international travel trade show ITB Berlin which is underway in the German capital on 6-10 March, BelTA learned from the Belarusian National Tourism Agency.
Belarus has themed its stand around the forthcoming 2nd European Games which are due in Minsk in 2019, and also the country’s new visa-free rules.
Ahead of the expo the Belarusian embassy in Berlin hosted an event to present the country’s tourism industry. Attending the event were representatives of the German Olympic Sports Confederation, a number of sport federations, travel agencies, business communities and mass media of Germany.
“ITB Berlin is a mirror of the international tourism industry, the world’s leading travel trade show. According to many specialists, ITB Berlin reflects all major trends of international tourism,” the National Tourism Agency said.
ITB Berlin 2019 features travel companies, associations, travel operators and agencies, hotels, transport companies and forwarders, business travel sector, cultural, adventure and youth travel offers.
