Belarus attends Global Automobile Logistics Conference in China

MINSK, 15 September (BelTA) – Belarus took part in the 2020 Global Automobile Logistics Conference in Xian, China, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in Beijing.

“The Belarusian embassy in China took part in the 2020 Global Automotive Logistics Conference on the invitation of the Xian Municipal People’s Government and the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing. The event welcomed more than 100 representatives of the Chinese and international automobile makers, logistics companies, profile associations, customs bodies, rail administrations and scientists of China,” the embassy said.

Participants stressed that in the current conditions of minimizing personal contacts, railway logistics shows a systematic growth and popularity among participants of international supply chains along the route China-EAEU-EU due to the reduction of time for delivery of goods and the cost of such transportation.

As part of the conference events, visits were paid to the Rail Express Logistics Center and the Xian Comprehensive Bonded Zone, and consultations were held with the management of the Xian International Inland Port Multimodal Transport on promising areas of cooperation with Belarus.
