MINSK, 14 March (BelTA) – A Belarusian delegation is attending the world’s leading IT trade show and conference CeBIT that opened in Hannover, Germany on 14 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
Hundreds of IT companies have gathered in Hannover to showcase state-of-the-art products and technologies. The Belarusian delegation is led by First Deputy Communications and Information Technology Minister Dmitry Shedko. Members of the delegation have plans to discuss promising cooperation avenues with ICT service providers and big companies producing telecommunications equipment.
The trade show features several topic clusters, such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) & Data Analysis, Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Web & Mobile Solutions, IT Services, Security, Communication & Networks, Infrastructure & Data Center, and Research & Innovation.
The exhibits are divided in a number of themed categories. For example, the cluster Communication & Networks showcases solutions and components for high-speed telecommunication networks. The section Internet of Things demonstrates the best of IoT solutions.
CeBIT is an international trade fair for information technologies, telecommunications and software in Hannover. It was founded in 1986 and is held annually. This year’s edition of the event will run till 18 March.
