Belarus’ Amkodor signs cooperation agreements with Russia’s Bashkortostan, Karelia

MINSK, 18 June (BelTA) – Belarus’ Amkodor signed cooperation agreements with Russia’s Bashkortostan and Karelia within the framework of the 26th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), BelTA learned from the company’s press service.

In particular, an agreement was signed between the Government of Bashkortostan represented by Prime Minister Andrei Nazarov and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Amkodor Aleksandr Shakutin.

The second cooperation agreement was signed between the Government of Karelia, Sberbank of Russia and Amkodor-Onego.

The key goal of the agreements is to achieve higher effectiveness of operation of the parties.

The public joint-stock company (OAO) Amkodor is the managing company of the holding company Amkodor. The original enterprise was established in 1927. The company consists of 30 legal entities, 22 factories that produce more than 6,500 products, including over 135 models and modifications of special-purpose and agricultural vehicles and machines. All Amkodor enterprises are integrated into a single technological chain. Each member specializes in specific machines, units and assemblies. Amkodor constantly develops new models of machines and vehicles and improves existing ones.
