MINSK, 26 March (BelTA) – The National Tourism Agency of Belarus and the National Tourism Agency of Albania will sign an agreement on cooperation. The relevant initiative was voiced by Belarus’ Deputy Sport and Tourism Minister Mikhail Portnoi as he met with Secretary General of the Ministry of Tourism and Environment of Albania Andrian Kamenica, BelTA learned from the press service of the ministry.

According to Mikhail Portnoi, Albanian resorts have recently become very popular with Belarusians. “Most feedback on your country is positive. People like the level of service, an excellent value for money, amiability and hospitality of Albanians. We would like Albanian people to visit Belarus more often, too. At this point it is important to establish a permanent exchange of information, attract specialists in marketing and PR technology,” said Mikhail Portnoi.

Albania is keen to use Belarus’ best practices in the construction of modern sports facilities. “Albanian people love sport. The experience of building and using such facilities would be useful for us. Young people are interested in sports, those who are older - in your resorts, historical monuments, and cultural events. I see that the potential for expanding a mutually beneficial partnership is significant,” Adrian Kamenica said.

The delegation from Albania was also shown a presentation of the 2nd European Games, which are due in Minsk in June 2019.
