BREST, 15 September (BelTA) – OAO Baranovichi Cotton Production Association is planning to deliver products to Italy and Slovakia, BelTA learned from the marketing department of the enterprise.
OAO Baranovichi Cotton Production Association is going to penetrate new markets in Europe. In particular, the enterprise is mulling over the delivery of products to Italy and Slovakia. The products of the Baranovichi-based enterprise are well-known in Europe. For example, they sell well in Serbia, Germany, Poland, Denmark and Finland. Textile products are also exported to Brazil. Apart from that, OAO Baranovichi Cotton Production Association has proprietary and dealer networks, wholesale stores and warehouses in Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Russia. In January-August 2015 the enterprise exported over $5.3 million worth of products. The output of the enterprise reached Br293 billion in January-August 2015.
The association is also going to enhance its positions in the Russian Federation. The enterprise will take part in the 2nd forum of regions of Belarus and Russia in Sochi on 17-18 September. Potential partners and customers of the enterprise will see collections of textile samples of various kinds and colors, including those made from a cotton-linen blend, elite bed and table clothes. “Our products have high quality and are eco-friendly. We offer a wide range of goods which can satisfy all consumers. This is our competitive edge. We hope to showcase Belarus’ achievements at the exposition in Sochi, lay the foundation of future cooperation with new foreign partners,” the representatives of the enterprise stressed.
The 2nd forum of regions of Belarus and Russia will bring together about 400 representatives of the two countries, including companies of Brest Oblast. Sochi will welcome such enterprises as OAO Brestgazoapparat, OAO Brest Electric Lamp Plant, ZAO Bels, OAO Savushkin Product, OAO Bereza Cheese Making Plant, OAO Brest Meat Packing Plant, the Pinsk-based manufacturing and trade association Polesye. The participants are expected to sign new agreements on development of cooperation between Brest Oblast and Pskov Oblast, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
