MINSK, 28 August (BelTA) – A Belarusian prefabricated house will be shipped to Azerbaijan to serve in the capacity of a promotional sample. Belarusian specialists will help assemble it. The possibility was discussed during a videoconference meeting of representatives of the Belarusian timber, woodworking, pulp and paper industry concern Bellesbumprom led by Chairman Aleksandr Pshenny, employees of the Forestry Ministry and the Shklov-based newsprint mill Zavod Gazetnoy Bumagi with representatives of Azerbaijan, BelTA has learned.
Sales of Belarusian home construction products were high on the agenda of the meeting. The Azerbaijani side had been previously offered several variants of prefabricated houses as well as bungalows and gazebos made by the Shklov-based enterprise.
The parties also discussed the delivery of a prefabricated house to Azerbaijan in the capacity of a product sample and its assembly with assistance of Belarusian specialists. The possibility of selling Belarusian houses for tourist zones in Azerbaijan was also discussed.
Representatives of the Belarusian timber, woodworking, pulp and paper industry concern Bellesbumprom noted that the concern closely monitors efforts to promote Belarusian house constriction products to the Azerbaijani market. The relevant instructions were given as a result of the Belarus president’s visit to Azerbaijan.
