MINSK, 26 May (BelTA) – Azerbaijani business is interested in expanding cooperation with Belarus, Azerbaijan's Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev said during the solemn inauguration ceremony of the Azerbaijani trading house in Minsk on 26 May, BelTA has learned.
According to Shahin Mustafayev, Minsk is playing host to some 70 Azerbaijani businessmen. This speaks volumes about the interest and importance Azerbaijan attaches to the project.
Shahin Mustafayev commended the high level of Belarus-Azerbaijan partnership. “The Belarusian and Azerbaijani leaders have friendly personal relations. They pay great attention to promoting bilateral political and economic ties. Belarusian and Azerbaijani heads of state, official delegations and representatives of business communities exchange visits, and the two countries successfully carry out joint investment projects,” the minister said and underlined that the two nations have been developing the relations on the basis of friendship and mutual trust.
Shahin Mustafayev stressed that the Azerbaijani trading house in Minsk is designed to promote Azerbaijani products to the Belarusian market, boost Azerbaijani export, organize and coordinate the sales of local products, and strengthen cooperation between the business communities of Belarus and Azerbaijan.
