MINSK, 2 November (BelTA) – OAO Amkodor-Belvar will ship about 3,000 items of automotive lighting equipment to Nizhny Novgorod, Russia this year, the company told BelTA.
In January 2015 OAO Amkodor-Belvar launched the production of headlights and flashlights for trucks, tractors, combines and special-purpose equipment. In January-October the company produced and sold over 200,000 items of automotive lighting equipment.
“The major part of our products goes to the domestic market. For example, we work with such big industrial companies as MAZ and MTZ. Currently we are busy with seeking ways to expand the lineup of the output and find new markets. We start exporting our products to Russia. For instance, we are set to ship nearly 3,000 items of equipment to Nizhny Novgorod before the end of 2015,” the company said. According to Amkodor-Belvar, the company is negotiating supplies to Saint Petersburg.
OAO Amkodor-Belvar was founded in 2012 through the merger of the Minsk Instrument Making Plant with Amkodor Holding Company. “In 2012-2015 Amkodor Holding Company invested Br30 billion in the technical upgrade of the company,” the company said.
OAO Amkodor-Belvar employs about 1,200 people. In January-September 2015 the average salary made up Br5.3 million. “The company produces household electric appliances, photodiode lamps, radio measuring, medical and dosimetric instruments, accumulator starting batteries and other products for special-purpose equipment. The company has recently launched the production of molding tools, stamps and electric appliances for Amkodor vehicles as well as monitors and personal computers,” the company added.
