MINSK, 15 July (BelTA) – Belarus hopes to expand cooperation with Indonesia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Indonesia Roman Romanovsky told reporters, BelTA has learned.
“Negotiations are currently underway on the establishment of a free trade zone between the Eurasian Economic Union and Indonesia. Both of them are interested in fast-tracking this process. This will give a strong momentum to our efforts to expand and deepen cooperation, primarily in trade and economy,” said Roman Romanovsky.
Belarus and Indonesia maintain long-standing friendly relations, the diplomat noted. According to him, the two countries are working to step up contacts in politics and in trade, as well as in humanitarian matters.
