BRATISLAVA, 27 April (BelTA) - A package of agreements on cooperation was signed during the Belarusian-Slovak Business Forum held in Bratislava with the participation of Belarus Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov and Slovakia Prime Minister Robert Fico, BelTA has learned.
Cooperation agreements were signed between the chambers of commerce of Belarus and Slovakia, between the Belarusian National Agency for Investment and Privatization and the Slovak Agency for Development, Investment and Trade.
OAO Management Company of Horizont Holding Company and OMS spol. s r.o. inked a memorandum of understanding on strategic partnership and cooperation.
A memorandum to set up a consortium was signed between the Belarusian State Technological University, Alexander Dubcek University of Trencin, SV Engineering, Dupres Group.
Over the past year Belarus and Slovakia have made good progress in expanding the legal framework, Andrei Kobyakov said. During Robert Fico’s visit to Belarus in November 2016 we signed agreements in energy, pharmaceutics, and recycling. “All these documents are not empty declarations. There is real work going on on each of them and we already have concrete results. I hope that the package of memorandums and agreements that we signed at the level of governments, ministries, and economic entities will also be converted into real results and new opportunities,” the Belarusian head of government said.
