61 new companies join Belarus’ Hi-Tech Park

MINSK, 7 June (BelTA) - Belarus' Hi-Tech Park Supervisory Council has taken a decision to register 61 new companies, BelTA learned from the Hi-Tech Park.

New resident companies work in various industry branches and the Internet of things. For examples, ITAST develops software for tech companies and a mobile application for municipal public transport. The TriIncome company specializes on improving systems of contactless payment and payment through a QR-code. Kakadu Development works on solutions to computerize cashier-less shops. KATEK Engineering specializes in monitoring and managing power systems of infrastructure facilities in all economic sectors. The Center for Identification Systems enterprise develops, launches, and runs projects on automatic identification technologies (RFID tag), e-business, and the Internet of things.

Several companies develop educational programs for online training. Kindersong is working on an application which helps practice singing by analyzing audio information. The Astonio company is developing an online platform with additional education courses.

The Hi-Tech Park has registered residents with foreign investment from the USA, Sweden, Switzerland, Israel, Malta, and Canada. Crossix Solutions By is a development center of Crossix Solutions Inc (New York, the USA) and specializes in creating, supporting, and introducing a set of programs to process data in the healthcare system. Axamit Consulting is an R&D division of the Axamit company based in Montreal. The company has plans to develop projects for major golf competitions.

The Hi-Tech Park has registered a lot of companies which specialize in games, cloud technologies, fintech, e-commerce, and healthcare. According to their business plans, the new resident companies intend to implement various business models, including mixed business models. Most of the new resident companies were set up in 2018-2019. Six companies have increased the scale of their activities since then.

At present, the Hi-Tech Park is home to 563 companies.
