MINSK, 14 July (BelTA) – A package of documents to facilitate business activity will be signed soon, Belarusian Economy Minister Vladimir Zinovsky told the media, BelTA has learned.
“The government has worked hard to prepare these documents. Careful consideration has been given to a package of documents on liberalization. They have been submitted to the President Administration. There are certain points that need to be finalized by lawyers, proofreaders, and editors. I believe the head of state will sign these documents in the near future,” Vladimir Zinovsky said.
As it was reported earlier, comprehensive and systematic work to determine approaches to optimizing the regulatory requirements for private business and auditing was done in Belarus over the last six months. The work resulted in a package of draft legal acts meant to facilitate business activity. The package includes draft presidential decisions on promoting entrepreneurship and avoiding excessive requirements for private business; on reducing the number of activities that require licenses; on enabling conditions conducive to the development of trade, public catering, consumer services; on improving oversight and auditing; on introducing tax consulting services; on additional measures to encourage business activity in certain sectors such as agroecotourism, arts and crafts.
