Zhong Shan noted that he had talks with the President of Belarus to discuss the whole range of Belarusian-Chinese cooperation on 5 November. He expressed the view that the Belarusian-Chinese relations reached a qualitatively new level.

"I would like to mention the unprecedented high level of the bilateral interaction, which shows the mutual interest in further development of relations between the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Belarus. In my view, the prospects for the Belarusian-Chinese cooperation are very great,” said Zhong Shan. He also stressed that China is closely following the development of its strategic partner Belarus. "China and Belarus are good old friends. We strongly support the path chosen by Belarus to ensure security, stability and peaceful development,” Zhong Shan said. He also expressed confidence that under the leadership of Alexander Lukashenko Belarus will be developing continuously.

Zhong Shan wished the Belarusian people prosperity and continued success.
